Does anyone have any idea about how to get them to clean this up. I don't mind the businesses as much as I consider the place an eye sore

Hey Paul,

I sent a note to our councilman and received a reply from Jeff Ebenstein, the deputy for our area.

"My name is Jeff Ebenstein and I am the Councilman's Deputy for you area. I am so sorry you are experiencing this issue. You have a fantastic neighborhood and we want to see it prosper. As you know, unfortunately, we can not control who landlords lease space out to. However, when they negatively impact the city right of way and the neighborhood we want to intervene.

I will bring this to the attention of our LAPD Senior Lead Officer and Street Use Enforcement and will cc them here. As a side note, please bare with the city agencies, as a result of the budget situation response time has been greatly affected.

Thank you for your email and heads up about this and we look forward to working with you to help keep are neighborhood's great."

So dead end there....on to step 2!

Well, in my experience, I have found that if you want something done, you had better do it. I am not trying to be a smart alec, but the city is not going to do much for us.
There are 2 solutions.
1. If you are rich, buy the place and then make it the way you want it to be. (not much chance of that happening for a number of reasons)

2. When you are walking by the place, pick up some of the trash yourself. It isn't fair, it isn't right, but it is our neighborhood. I find most of the stuff belongs to Menchie's, so I return it to them.
